Lincoln Center Theater’s new musical Flying Over Sunset has a complete cast! Joining the previously announced Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton, Tony Yazbeck are Erika Henningsen, Jeremy Kushnier, Emily Pynenburg, Michele Ragusa, Robert Sella, Laura Shoop, and Atticus Ware.
Performances are set to begin at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on March 12 with an official opening on April 16.
Set in the 1950s, Flying Over Sunset is inspired by the lives of writer Aldous Huxley; playwright, diplomat, and congresswoman, Clare Booth Luce; and film legend Cary Grant - each of whom in real life experimented with the drug LSD. Under the influence of the drug, take a trip and confront the mysteries of their lives and their world.
Directed and written by three-time Tony winner James Lapine, the show also features music by Tony winner Tom Kitt, lyrics by Tony nominee Michael Korie, and choreography by Michelle Dorrance in her Broadway debut.
