Carmen Cusack & Tony Yazbeck To Lead Broadway's 'Flying Over Sunset'

The new Broadway musical Flying Over Sunset is heading to Broadway this spring with a stellar cast!

Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton, and Tony Yazbeck will return to Broadway as "Clare Booth Luce," "Aldous Huxley," and "Cary Grant," respectively. The new musical features a book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Michael Korie. It begins previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre by Lincoln Center Theater on March 12, 2020, with an opening night set for April 16, 2020.

Set in the 1950s, Flying Over Sunset is inspired by the lives of writer Aldous Huxley (Hadden-Paton); playwright, diplomat, and congresswoman, Clare Booth Luce (Cusack); and film legend Cary Grant (Yazbeck) - each of whom in real life experimented with the drug LSD. Under the influence of the drug, take a trip and confront the mysteries of their lives and their world.
