Samantha Barks To Play Elsa In West End Premiere Of 'Frozen'

Samantha Barks is getting ready to Let It Go as Elsa in the West End premiere of Disney's Frozen.

According to The Daily Mail, the production premieres in October 2020 and will reopen the refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane. It will feature also the new song “I Can’t Lose You,” which is premiering in the musical’s new national tour.

Barks was last seen in Pretty Woman on Broadway as Vivian Ward, but is best know for her role as Eponine in the 2012 big screen adaptation of Les Miserables. Barks first played that role in the West End as well as in the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Mis at The O2. Before Frozen, Barks will lead a tour of the musical Chess in Tokyo opposite Ramin Karimloo.

Further casting for London's Frozen will be announced at a later date.
