On December 11th Netflix will be releasing the highly anticipated musical film adaptation of The Prom, a Broadway fan favorite that garnered seven Tony Award Nominations. The musical, book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, Music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, will now have a global audience with the film adaptation that features a starry cast all helmed by Ryan Murphy. The all-star cast is comprised of Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, James Corden, Kerry Washington, Andrew Rannells, Keegan-Michael Key, Jo Ellen Pellman and Ariana DeBose.
Members of the Cast and Creative Team recently sat down with iHeartRadio Broadway's SJ Arnegger to talk about the impact The Prom will hopefully have with viewers and what it was like working with Ryan Murphy on a Broadway musical film adaptation.
