The Cast Of 'Bat Out Of Hell' Describe The Rock & Roll Love Story

On this week's Inside Broadway, Michael Riedel and Christine Nagy chat with actors Andrew Polec, Christina Bennington and choreographer Xena Gusthart from Bat Out Of Hell- The Musical playing at the New York City Center.

The rock and roll love story was the vision of Jim Steinman for over forty years. The cast reveals the answer to what the 'that' is in Meatloaf's famous song "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)."

Andrew Polec explains, "Meatloaf's explanation is basically it's a wonderfully constructed grammatical sentence. The song it's such a long sentence the first lyrics is 'I would do anything for love I'd run right into hell and back I'd do anything for love I never lie to you and that's a fact' and then he says 'but I'll never forget the way you feel right now oh no no way I would do anything for love but I won't do that' so the first one is but I'll never forget the way you feel... every time it changes."
