'The Outsiders’ Victor Carrillo Tracey on Hispanic Culture, Community & Belonging on Broadway

Honey German, host of the Gracias Come Again podcast and POWER 105.1, sat down with Victor Carrillo Tracey of Broadway’s The Outsiders to talk Hispanic culture, identity, representation, community and what it means to belong.

Tracey, who plays Paul in The Outsiders and understudies Darrel Curtis and Sodapop Curtis, shares his perspective on bringing his experiences and culture into his work on Broadway and the importance of creating connections both onstage and beyond.

The conversation comes ahead of a special post-show talkback on September 15, immediately following that evening’s performance of The Outsiders. Hosted by Honey German, the talkback will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with a celebration of community, connection, storytelling and belonging. The September 15 panel will feature Victor Carrillo Tracey, Ana Maldonado from the Hair Department, Alejandro MullerDahlberg, who plays Steve and understudies Two-Bit, and Yanilsa Rafferty from the Wardrobe Department.
