Fresh off a critically acclaimed Broadway opening and 7 Tony Award nominations, Molly Griggs is stopping by iHeartRadio Broadway to talk all things John Proctor is the Villain.
Griggs stars as Bailey Gallagher in the bold new play by Kimberly Belflower, directed by Tony Award winner Danya Taymor. The production follows a group of high schoolers in rural Georgia who begin to question the legacy of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible—and the cultural reverence for its flawed male protagonist, John Proctor. Sharing the stage with Stranger Things star Sadie Sink, Griggs delivers a compelling performance in a story that’s as timely as it is thought-provoking. In her interview, she dives into why the play is still relevant today, the play’s feminist undercurrent, and what it’s like working with this powerhouse creative team.
Broadway isn’t the only place Molly is making waves. She also stars in Netflix’s hit murder mystery The Residence! Don’t miss her exclusive iHeartRadio Broadway interview in the video player above!
