Ben Platt On New Album "Honeymind," Playing The Palace Theatre, & More

Tony®, GRAMMY®, and Emmy® Award winner Ben Platt will play an exclusive concert residency at Broadway’s recently refurbished Palace Theatre (West 47th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), in celebration of the release of his upcoming third album Honeymind. The residency, directed by Tony Award winner Michael Arden who collaborated with Platt on the 2023 Tony Award-winning revival of Parade which also earned Platt a Tony nomination, will play Tuesday, May 28 through Saturday, June 15 for 18 performances only. The Palace is one of Broadway’s most preeminent theatres. "Playing The Palace" has been synonymous with the pinnacle of success since the theatre opened in 1913. The venue has been home to such legendary performers as Josephine BakerHarry BelafonteElvis PresleyShirley MacLaineBette MidlerDiana RossLiza Minnelli, and perhaps most famously Judy Garland. The venue closed in 2018 for a significant renovation and restoration, including raising the historically landmarked venue 30 feet in the air. 

Platt will take the stage of the soon-to-reopen Palace Theatre for 18 performances only to celebrate the release of his upcoming album Honeymind, available Friday, May 31 via Interscope Records and executive produced by Dave Cobb. The evening, the latest chapter of a storied career jam-packed with hits and acclaimed performances in Dear Evan HansonPitch Perfect, and Parade, will showcase Platt’s insightful original lyrics and breathtaking vocals from the new album, selections from Reverie and Sing to Me Instead, as well as a few surprises for fans of the platinum-selling superstar.
