Meet The Cast And Creatives For City Center's 'Pal Joey' Gala Performance

iHeartRadio Broadway had a chance to chat with the cast and creatives for New York City Center's Gala Performance cast of Pal Joey. Pal Joey begins performances tonight and runs through November 5. Watch our interview in the player above!

Featuring a new book by Richard LaGravenese and Daniel “Koa” Beaty, the revival reimagines the main character to be a Black jazz singer struggling to make it big in the Chicago nightclub circuit, played by Ephraim Sykes. Joining Sykes will be Elizabeth Stanley as Vera, Aisha Jackson as Linda, Loretta Devine as Lucille, Brooks Ashmanskas as Melvin, and Jeb Brown as Tony.

The ensemble will be Krystina M. Burton, Marshall L. Davis Jr., Dormeisha, Jarvis Manning, and Brittany Nicole Parks. The non-spirit ensemble will comprise Mary Antonini, Taylor Marie Daniel, Leandra Ellis-Gaston, Jodeci Milhouse, NaTonia Monét, Rory Shirley, and Allysa Shorte.
