The upcoming filmed version of the 2018 Broadway production of Mean Girls will now hit movie theaters January 12, 2024. After being slated for Paramount+, but is now getting a full theatrical release.
The new adaptation movie stars Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Jenna Fischer, Busy Philipps, Avantika, Mahi Alam, Christopher Briney, Bebe Wood, Ashley Park, Connor Ratliff and Jon Hamm.
The creative team consists of a new screenplay by Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, lyrics by Nell Benjamin, co-directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez, Jr. and choreography by Kyle Hanagami.
