'Moulin Rouge! The Musical' To Welcome Gabe Martínez As Santiago

The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical will welcome Gabe Martínez who makes his Broadway debut in the role of Santiago, having originated the role in the First National Tour, beginning Tuesday, October 10 at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th St, NYC). Ricky Rojas will play his final performance on Sunday, September 10 and the role will then be played by Alexander Gil Cruz and Ricardo A. Zayas in the four weeks prior to Martínez joining the company.

Gabe Martínez has appeared on stage in such productions as Peter and the Starcatcher (Slank), In the Heights (Usnavi), Hair (Berger), Sister Act (Curtis) and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Barfée). He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College.

The current Broadway cast is led by Courtney Reed as Satine, Casey Cott as Christian, Eric Anderson as Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Ricky Rojas as Santiago and Sophie Carmen-Jones as Nini. Oyoyo Joi is the Satine Alternate.
