Stephanie J. Block & Marylee Fairbanks 'Stages Podcast' Joins iHeartRadio

Tony Award winner Stephanie J. Block (Co-Host, Producer), Marylee Fairbanks (Co-Host, Producer), and iHeartMedia’s iHeartRadio Broadway, announced that the established podcast Stages Podcast, will now join the iHeartRadio Podcast Network and will be featured on iHeartRadioBroadway.com starting today.

Stages Podcast connects with performers, artists, and healers to explore creativity and the way it sustains us in each stage of life. In each episode, Block and Fairbanks connect with friends and colleagues from Broadway and the global stage to discuss the roadblocks, choices, failures, and successes that lead to unexpected avenues of expression.

“I’m thrilled to welcome the Stages Podcast to not only the iHeart Podcast Network but also iHeartRadio Broadway,” said SJ Arnegger, Director for iHeartRadio Broadway. “The honest and open conversations that Stephanie and Marylee have with their guests and friends is truly remarkable and I sincerely believe that they have a gift for creating a warm and beautiful environment for the Broadway and entertainment community to be part of through this podcast.”

Stages Podcast launched on August 1, 2021, and has since earned more than 80,000 downloads. The podcast has welcomed Award-winning artists including Jason Alexander, LaChanze, Megan Hilty, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Daniel Pink, Danny Burstein, Annaleigh Ashford, Donna Murphy, James Lapine, and dozens more. “Marylee and I became friends 30 years ago, when we shared a dressing room and bonded over life's joys, heartaches, and lessons,” said Block. “When the theater industry shut down, we started talking about creativity and how it can sustain us through challenges, and we realized how meaningful these candid conversations could be with others. This led to the creation of Stages Podcast.”
Stages Podcast is the perfect example of how something wonderful can grow from a challenging time when creativity is at the forefront,” said Fairbanks. “Our mission is to connect in a meaningful way with our guests, that have ranged from gorilla doctors in Africa, to healers, to performers and composers. Everyone’s life path is unique and after being so disconnected and isolated over the last few years, we seek to understand each other more deeply. We have accomplished so much with our team of four over the past two seasons of the podcast, and we are thrilled to continue to grow and share through our partnership with iHeartRadio.”
