Watch the official trailer for the new Peacock comedy series Girls5eva featuring Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, Busy Phillips and Ashley Park. The story follows the girl group as they mount a comeback after a young rapper samples one of their former songs bringing the team out of retirement and looking for a fifth member. While pursing their comeback, all members of Girls5eva have to balance their current obligations with family and work while trying to reinvent their 90's girls group for modern audiences. The series premieres on May 6th on the NBC streaming service and was created and written by Meredith Scardino (SNL, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and is produced by Tina Fey, Jeffrey Richards, Robert Carlock, David Miner and Eric Gurian.
