Manhattan Theatre Club Announces 2020 Virtual Fall Benefit

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove(Executive Producer) announced today that Manhattan Theatre Club will present its 2020 Fall Benefit, “Old Friends | New Works: A Benefit for MTC, on Thursday, December 3 at 7:00pm ET. The virtual event will be streamed on MTC’s YouTube channel and is free to the public, but donations of any amount are encouraged.

“Old Friends | New Works: A Benefit for MTC” will feature some of MTC's favorite stars with performances of new material written for this event, including four-time Emmy Award winner Edie Falco, five-time and current Tony Award nominee Laura Linney, Emmy and Tony Award Nominee Jeremy Pope, Tony Award winner Simon Stephens, Pulitzer Prize Winner Elizabeth Strout, and 2019 Special Tony Award Recipient Jason Michael Webb.

The evening will also include an online auction featuring trips, MTC memorabilia, and many other packages. MTC is a not-for-profit theatre, and all proceeds from this annual event will benefit this mission-driven institution.

Fiona Davis, Lisa Towbin, and Susan Winter are the co-chairs of the 2020 Fall Benefit and includes David Kane (video editor) and Situation Interactive (supervising producer) as the event’s creative team
