Andrew Lloyd Webber has released a new song from his upcoming new musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, titled “Far Too Late," performed by Carrie Hope Fletcher.
Webber and Fletcher recently recorded the moving ballad on stage at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, home ofThe Phantom of the Opera which has been shuttered since March due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella stars Carrie Hope Fisher as Cinderella and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the Stepmother. The musical features a book by Emmy Award nominee Emerald Fennell, a new score and lyrics by Tony Award winner David Zippel with direction by Laurence Connor, and choreography from JoAnn M. Hunter.
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella will begin preview performances at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London’s West End on Friday, March 19, 2021 ahead of an official opening night on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
