The 5k run/walk takes place August 22nd and 23rd and if you'd like to participate you can sign up here.
From the official release:
The Broadway Cares Virtual 5K, presented in partnership with Playbill.com, can be completed anywhere, on socially distanced streets and trails or even in living rooms and backyards. Participants can run, walk, hike, bike, leap or jeté to reach 5K, as long as they move to make a difference. There is no fee to register, and each participant has a suggested minimum fundraising goal of $250.
The fundraiser will provide medications, nutritious meals, emergency financial assistance and more to those who need it the most. What is best about these types of virtual runs is that you can pick your own course. So have fun with it. It's all for a good cause.
