The Broadway world was shocked when Nick Cordero lost his battle with COVID-19. Fortunately for his fans his music can live on with a new album coming from Broadway Records, Live Your Life: Live at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

This performance was directed by Emmy award-winning director and producer Michael J Mortiz Jr.

Guest performers on the album include Kathryn Gallagher, Drew Gehling, Sara Chase, and Zach Braff.

Cordero and Mortiz were planning on releasing the 2019 cabaret performance before Cordero's diagnosis with COVID-19. Now that he has passed the album is going to be released with his family's blessing September 17, 2020.

Mortiz said on working on this album,

Nick and I had so much fun putting this show together. Until now, only 250 people heard this show live. While nothing will fill the loss that Nick leaves in the world, I’m so thankful we recorded the concert. I’m incredibly honored to help preserve Nick’s memory for those who love him, and to share his extraordinary talent and warmth with the world.

Proceeds from the album will go to benefit his wife, Amanda Kloots, and their young son Elvis.
