The second animated feature from Paramount Pictures is coming in the fall of 2022. Spellbound is set for a November 11th release following the studio's first animated release in February of 2022.
Spellbound will feature original songs and music from legendary Disney composer, Alan Menken. He will team up with another Disney alum, Glenn Slater (Tangled), who will write the lyrics.
Menken isn't the only animation giant on the project. It will be directed by Vicky Jensen (Shrek) and will be written by Lauren Hynek (Shrek) and Elizabeth Martin (Mulan) and Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast).
Spellbound is set in a world of magic, where a young girl must break the spell that has split her kingdom in two.
