Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany share two children together, 2-year-old son Memphis and 1-year-old daughter Navy. Over the weekend, the country star shared a photo on Instagram of his son in the ocean taking his first-ever ride on a boogie board with a big smile on his face.
"Got the lil man on the board for the first time yesterday and..........he’s a natural. 🤙🏼 🌊 🏄🏼" Aldean wrote in the caption.
Most of the comments were positive, including Brittany Kelley's who wrote "omg,"but some others weren't so nice. One troll decided to take time out of their day to criticize the 2-year-old's hair. "Cool... now get him to the barber shop," they commented along with rolling eyes emoji.
Aldean noticed the comment and decided to simply respond with a combination of a shushing emoji and a clenched fist emoji. A handful of Aldean's fan's also decided to respond to the comment telling the troll to "stay in your lane" and "get over it."
This isn't the first time the couple has received criticism regarding their son's hair, as Brittany revealed in May to Us Weekly.
"It's a huge thing for people," she says. "I don't know why people really care. It's really just because we wanted him to look like a little surfer kid, and he does, and we love it and we think it's the cutest thing ever."
"It really bothers people and stuff like that, it amazes me," she adds. "It's one thing to say, 'Oh his hair's getting long,' it's another thing to say that it's wrong for his hair to be long."
Brittany added that she's become better at handling criticism over the years. "Just little things, but honestly, I'm pretty good with criticism these days," she says. "I've had a lot of practice."
