In the time away from West Side Story, Pimentel revealed if she had been going through her blocking and lines in her head; "Right now it is still second nature, so I have taken a break from everything - a break from the show and singing and acting. It was the rest I needed, but didn't want for this long. Now, I have started playing the piano again and singing again, just doing things to tap into it again."
