The stars of Moulin Rouge! are ready to sit down at a panel at 92Y this April at 8pm. That panel will consist of Karen Olivio, Danny Burstein, and Aaron Tveit. They are set to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the hit Broadway musical.
According to Playbill,
...they’ll discuss how Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 film got adapted for the stage, how they manage to balance an intense love story with the 70-plus songs, the show’s elaborate set design and choreography, and more.
Moulin Rouge! is currently playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre and is directed by Alex Timbers. It features a book by John Logan, choreography by Sonya Tayeh, musical supervision from Justin Levine, sets by Derek McLane, and costumes by Tony winner Catherine Zuber.
