Jordan Fisher is set to play Evan Hansen in the Broadway smash-hit musical, Dear Evan Hansen.
Fisher will take over the role from 17 year-old Andrew Barth Feldman. Feldman will play his final performance on January 26, 2020 after a year in the role. He took to Instagram for a message to Fisher, "I have so many feelings right now, but they’re mostly unbridled excitement for Jordan Fisher and enormous thankfulness for these last ten months."
Most recently seen as Mark Cohen in Fox’s Rent: Live, Jordan Fisher made his Broadway debut in 2016 in Hamilton and won the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars. Fisher will play a limited 16-week engagement beginning January 28, 2020.
