"The title, 'Plays With Music, has many meanings, when I first started this three years ago, it was going to be a trio album. I was going to have all kinds of different music, I was going to have Broadway tunes, I recorded Brazilian tunes, folk tunes, I recorded a lot of different things - as it went along, this album said after a while that it wanted to be a big Broadway orchestral album which is rare these days."
