'The Wrong Man' Teams Up With Future Hope For Charity Performance

Future Hope and MCC Theater present an evening performance of The Wrong Man to benefit City of Hope's life saving research on Thursday November, 14, 2019. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

The MCC Theater is one of New York’s leading nonprofit Off-Broadway companies, driven by a mission to provoke conversations that have never happened and otherwise never would. City of Hope’s Future Hope is comprised of rising young entertainment industry professionals united by the goal to curate events and networking opportunities that target the most dynamic and innovative entertainment executives. Since its found in 2013, more than $767,000 has been raised in support of their mission is to raise awareness in the emerging executive pool about City of Hope’s mission of turning research discoveries into cures for patients. This select group of dynamic agents, managers, lawyers, executives, entrepreneurs and artists utilizes its unique skillset to work toward a world in which cancer, diabetes, and other serious illnesses are a thing of the past. 

The cast of The Wrong Man includes three-time Tony Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Joshua HenryCiara Renée, and Ryan Vasquez. Also in this production is American Idol finalist Anoop Desai, Tilly Evans-Krueger (RENT: Live), Malik Kitchen (Hamilton, Chicago), Libby Lloyd,Amber Pickens (Cirque du Soleil Paramour), Kyle Robinson (An American in Paris), Debbie Christine Tjong (Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future), and Julius Williams.

The wrong man meets the wrong woman in the wrong place at the wrong time. Set in Reno, Nevada, THE WRONG MAN is the story of Duran, a man just scraping by who is framed for a murder he didn’t commit, told through poetic lyrics and haunting melodies.
