Watch the first visual for ABC's live concert version of Disney’s The Little Mermaid above. The Little Mermaid Live will take place on November 5 at 8pm.
Moana star Auli’I Cravalho will play Ariel, Grammy and Emmy winner Queen Latifah will play Ursula, Grammy winner Shaggy will take on "Sebastian," John Stamos will portray Chef Louis and Graham Phillips will play Prince Eric.
Little Mermaid fans not only treated to this live concert on ABC, but also can look forward to the live-action adaptation of the beloved classic that is currently in the works. The live-action Little Mermaid will incorporate the original songs from the 1989 animated hit as well as new songs from Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Miranda is producing the film along with director Rob Marshall, Marc Platt and John DeLuca. David Magee wrote the script. Halle Bailey of Chloe x Halle will star as "Ariel" in the film.
