The Actors Fund has announced that The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife by Charles Busch will be performed at their benefit. This one-night reading will happen on Monday, November 18th, 2019 at The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
Charles Busch will play the title role, along with an all-star Broadway cast including Linda Lavin, Michele Lee, Tony Roberts and Anil Kumar as well as the original director Lynne Meadow. All proceeds from the performance will benefit The Actors Fund.
The Actors Fund is a national human services organization that fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan. The Fund serves everyone in film, theater television, music, opera, radio and dance. The fund offers programs such as social services and emergency financial assistance, health care and insurance counseling, housing, and secondary employment and training services
