The MCC Theater released the compete casting for Seared.
Seared will star W. Tré Davis, four-time Tony Award nominee Raúl Esparza, David Mason, and Krysta Rodriguez. The show was written by Theresa Rebeck and is directed by Tony nominee Moritz von Stuelpnage.
The creative team includes scenic design by Tim Mackabee, costume design by Tilly Grimes, lighting design by David Weiner, sound design by Palmer Hefferan, and casting by Telsey + Company / Adam Caldwell, CSA, Will Cantler, CSA, Karyn Casl, CSA. The Production Stage Manager for Seared is Rachel Gross.
Seared is a fit-for-foodies comedy that follows Harry, a hot-headed chef, who scores a mention in a food magazine with this signature scallops. Harry’s business partner is delighted to see profits within reach but conflict emerges when Harry refused to recreated his masterpiece for the masses. This hilarious production transforms the stage into an intimate kitchen of a New York City Restaurant.
Performances will begin on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 in the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space. The official opening night is set for Monday, October 28th, 2019.
