Sam Learns How To Fence Backstage Of 'The Play That Goes Wrong'

On guard!

Sam from the Elvis Duran Show stopped by New World Stages' production of The Play That Goes Wrong to get a backstage tour and to learn how to fence with cast members Brent Bateman and Matt Walker.

The cast members show Sam props, stage tricks, and a revolving door bookcase. Later, Bateman and Walker reenact a scene from the show where their characters duel with silver swords. Then, they attempt to teach Sam the fight - she was actually pretty great! Watch the full video above.

According to the official website, The Play That Goes Wrong is a hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes. Welcome to opening night ofThe Murder at Haversham Manor where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. With an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines), it’s“A RIOTOUS EXPLOSION OF COMEDY!” (The Daily Beast) and “TONS OF FUN FOR ALL AGES!” (HuffPost). Ben Brantley ofThe New York Times calls The Play That Goes Wrong “A GUT-BUSTING HIT,” and Cindy Adams of theNew York Post has just one word for you: “GO!”
