'Six' Headed To Norwegian Cruise Ships

It has been a big week for the new musical Six with announcements of Broadway transfer as well as an additional Chicago run. Now, the Six empire is expanding even more! The musical is headed to the ocean with Norwegian Cruise Line.

According to Broadway News, Six will run aboard three of the Norwegian Cruise Line ships beginning next month. The musical will play the Norwegian Bliss ship on Sept. 1, 2019, the Norwegian Breakaway on Nov. 10, 2019 and the Norwegian Getaway on April 23, 2020. 

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, and produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Kevin McCollum, follows the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Norwegian Cruise Line to showcase this award-winning musical for the first time at sea,” Wax said in the press release. 

Six made its North American premiere in Chicago in May and will return to Chicago in July 2020. Six is also currently running on the West End. Visit the official Six website for more information.
