Jacob Dickey is about the jump into some big shoes! He has been cast in the title role of Disney's Aladdin on Broadway, now in its sixth year. He takes over for Ainsley Melham, whose final performance will be on July 14th. Dickey's first show as Aladdin will be July 16, 2019 at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
According to Playbill, Dickey will star as Aladdin until September 12. He has previously played Aladdin on the North American tour. He was the understudy for Aladdin and Kassim.
