Marvel Teaming Up With Samuel French for Educational Plays for Teens

Marvel Entertainment has already conqured both the comic book and movie world. They've even seen success in the television world thanks to shows on both Netflix and ABC. So what's next? The stage!

A series of one-act plays called Marvel Spotlight are on the way. These plays are a partnership between Marvel Entertainment and Samuel French, and publisher of American and British play scripts. The plays are geared towards high school audiences.

According to the New York Times:

The Marvel Spotlight plays were created with a focus on educational institutions and are priced accordingly: license fees are $75 per performance for one play or $125 per performance for two or more.

There are currently three plays to choose from.

  • Squirrel Girl Goes to College
  • Hammered: A Thor and Loki Play
  • Mirror of Most Value: A Ms. Marvel Play
