Legendary actor and performer, Ian McKellen, is set to make his return to Broadway for one night. Just announced today (June 20, 2019), McKellen will be bringing his Ian on Stage: With Tolkien, Shakespeare, Others …And You to the Hudson Theater November 5, 2019. The show will benefit the nonprofit theater organization, Only Make Believe.
From the official press release, McKellen said:
“This year I’ve been having the time of my life, touring my new Show across the UK. Now it will be an extra treat to return to Broadway, 50 years after my debut in NYC, especially as it will benefit the inspirational work of Only Make Believe. Please come and help me celebrate!”
