Tootsie's Original Broadway Cast Recording was released today, June 7th, on digital and streaming outlets ahead of a physical release set for August 16.
Oklahoma! will release its cast album in physical, digital, and streaming form June 28.
Tootsie received 11 total Tony Award Nominations including, Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre, Best Costume Design of a Musical, Best Direction of a Musical, Best Choreography, and Best Orchestrations. Santino Fontana received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. Cast members Andy Grotelueschen, Lilli Cooper, and Sarah Stiles were nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical respectively.
Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! received 8 total Tony Award nominations including, Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for Damon Daunno, Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical by both Ali Stroker and Mary Testa, Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Sound Design of a Musical, and Best Direction of a Musical, Best Orchestrations.
