Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan Extend 'Waitress' Performances Through June

If you are in love with Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan in Waitress get ready for more! Just announced today (April 23, 2019) the two will be extending their roles in the Broadway hit as Jenna and Dr. Pomatter through June 2, 2019. That means if you were afraid of missing them, now is your shot!

Shoshana Bean has quite the impressive resume, making her Broadway debut in Hairspray and starred as the first replacement for Elphaba in Wicked. Recently her album Spectrum hit #1 on the Billboard Jazz charts.

Jordan has also had his share of success in multiple formats. Winning a Tony Award for his role as Jack in Newsies, he’s also starred opposite Kerry Washington in the Broadway play, American Son. Jordan has also had roles on television, playing Winn Schott on the CW’s Supergirl.

Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage. Pouring her heart into her pies, she crafts desserts that mirror her topsy-turvy life such as “The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie” and“Betrayed By My Eggs Pie.”When a baking contest in a nearby county — and a satisfying run-in with someone new — show Jenna a chance at a fresh start, she must find the courage to seize it. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.
