Broadway superstars Megan Hilty and Jessie Mueller will play country music icons Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, respectively, in Patsy & Loretta a Lifetime original movie. Nashville creator Callie Khouri will direct and Neil Meron is set to be the executive producer according to TVLine. The movie will film on location in Nashville and will have a late 2019 debut date.
Hilty previously worked with Meron on screen as Ivy Lynn in Smash. Hilty's Broadway stage credits include Wicked and 9 to 5. Mueller won the Tony in 2014 for her portrayal of Carole King in Broadway's Beautiful. Other Broadway appearances include Waitress and Carousel and made her film debut in The Post.
