Be More Chill composer Joe Iconis has a new musical Broadway Bounty Hunter and it will premiere in New York Off Broadway this summer! Orange is the New Black actress Annie Golden will reprise her lead performance.
Inspired by the exploitation movies of the 1970s, this exciting new musical follows a 60-ish-year-old, down-on-her-luck actor Annie as she’s asked to become a bounty hunter and capture a South American drug lord.
The Off Broadway of Broadway Bounty Hunter will be directed and choreographed by Iconis’ frequent collaborator Jennifer Werner. The creative team for the Off Broadway production also includes scenic designer Michael Schweikardt, lighting designers Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer, costume and wig designer Sarafina Bush, projection designer Brad Peterson, sound designer Cody Spencer, music supervisor and orchestrator Charlie Rosen, vocal arranger Joel Waggoner, music director Geoffrey Ko, and artistic consultant Nehemiah Luckett.
Iconis' Be More Chill broke records in its first week on Broadway, can't wait to see where Broadway Bounty Hunter will take him!
