'The Band's Visit' and 'The Greatest Showman' Win Grammys

The Band's Visit and The Greatest Showman are Grammy Award winners!

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards took place live from the STAPLES Center on Sunday, February 10, 2019, and as always, it was an unforgettable night! The Band’s Visit won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and The Greatest Showman was awarded a Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.

The Tony Award-winning musical, The Band's Visit was in the category with Carousel , Once on This Island, My Fair Lady and Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert . The recipients of the Grammy Award for The Band’s Visit album are principal vocalists Etai Benson, Adam Kantor, Katrina Lenk and Ari’el Stachel, producer Dean Sharenow and David Yazek, who was both a producer of the album and wrote the score to the musical.

The Greatest Showman was in the same category as the soundtracks to Call Me by Your Name, Deadpool 2, Lady Bird, and Stranger Things.
