Lin-Manuel Miranda Calls Out Fan Filming By Changing 'Hamilton' Lyrics

Lin-Manuel Miranda has proven that he is a lyrical genius yet again, and this time on the fly! On January 16th's performance of Hamilton from Puerto Rico, Miranda called out a woman for filming in the middle of the show.

Miranda, playing Alexander Hamilton, was beginning the iconic tune, "My Shot," when he suddenly noticed a woman filming the performance from her seat. The actual lyrics are: "I'ma get a scholarship to King's College, I prob'ly shouldn't brag, but dag, I amaze and astonish. The problem is I got a lot of brains but no polish." But Miranda changed them to: "I'ma get a scholarship to King's College, I prob'ly shouldn't brag, but dag, I amaze and astonish. Lady filming in the fourth row, please stop it." That's some serious talent!

The lady felt so bad she actually apologized! See tweet below. Note to self - never take your phone out in a Broadway show until you're ready to be publicly called out. You should never have your phone out anyway!
