Broadway Shows Set To Appear In Reimagined Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

First reported by the New York times, NBC has confirmed a handful of Broadway shows will appear in this year's reimagined Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The announced lineup includes: Hamilton, Mean Girls, Jagged Little Pill, and Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations. This years parade has been modified due to the ongoing pandemic and will not include any spectators along the parade route. The show will again be hosted by Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb of The Today Show. The confirmed roster of talent that is set for the Parade include: Lauren Alaina, Jimmie Allen and Noah Cyrus, Ally Brooke, Sofia Carson, CNCO, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Karol G, Tori Kelly, Patti LaBelle, Ella Mai, Miss America 2020 Camille Schrier, the cast and Muppets of Sesame Street, Leslie Odom Jr. Keke Palmer, Dolly Parton, Pentatonix, Bebe Rexha, Jordin Sparks, Sebastian Yatra and Brett Young.

Last but not least, Santa Claus will be the main headliner for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and according to the New York Times "is in good health despite the fact the coronavirus has even made it to the Arctic".
