Isn't Lin-Manuel Miranda the best?
Following the announcement that Broadway theatres will close their doors from March 12 - April 12 due to the Coronavirus, Lin-Manuel Miranda tweeted a link to a never before heard song from his hit musical Hamilton.
Miranda stated, "Wish I could send you peace of mind via this app. Alas. But I can send you music no one's heard. Here's a cut Hamilton/Washington tune called I Have This Friend." He also added where it would have been in the show, "This would come right before The Reynolds Pamphlet."
Fans rejoiced and send messages of love to Miranda and one another. One user even tweeted, "Like a weighted blanket, a glass wine and a hug!!! Thank you for the comfort!!!"
